Planning Appeals & Planning Enforcement

If a planning application is refused it is possible to make an appeal to the Planning Inspectorate for an independent and impartial review of your development proposals and the merits of the application. We can assist you in preparing and submitting a planning appeal, providing appeal statements, completing application forms and corresponding with the Planning Inspectorate and relevant local planning authority on your behalf.

We know that the planning system is complicated and that it can be possible to overlook or misunderstand when planning permission and/or listed building consent is needed.

With regard to planning enforcement, complaints to local planning authorities from members of the public or from stakeholders in the planning process can trigger planning enforcement investigations. This may lead to action being taken by planning enforcement officers and therefore it is important to understand the reason(s) for their involvement and the implications of the action that they take. We can assist you in responding to officer queries and negotiating the best possible outcome, which on many occasions is the preparation and submission of a planning application.
